Honda’s premium division brand will field three versions in the new NSX in the event, two depending on the hybrid production car and another all-electric variant.
Within its 100th year, the June 26 hill climb to the very top of your 14,115ft mountain is actually a grueling high-altitude test of race cars of several types.
Acura’s NSX production-based entries will compete in the Time Attack 1 and two classes. The NSX-inspired all-electric prototype will compete within the Electric Modified Class. It would come with a further evolution in the experimental four motor unit powertrain that won its class at Pikes Peak just last year.
